The First State F-body Association is one of the fastest growing clubs
in Delaware. The club is a non-profit organization that was officially
started in November 2001 by Jim Weiant, John Weiant, DJ Melvin &
John Coleman. The club's main function is dedicated to the history,
preservation and modification of the 1967-2002 Camaro and Firebird. We
meet at specific times throughout the year to discuss and help each
other to provide the best advice in preservation and modification of
these cars. It doesn't matter if its show & shine, racing, etc. We
don't care if its in primer you are more then welcome here.
The First State F-body Association is constantly growing and is always
looking to add new members to its family. We are a Delaware based club
that has no state borders - We encourage surrounding states to join in.
The club communicates to each other by the First State F-Body Message
Forum, track events and car show events.
Q
& A
Q:
Do you have to have
any certain interior,
exterior, or engine mods
to become a member?
A:
No, we are about
having fun, and sharing
our passion for f-bodys.
You dont even have to
own a f-body to become a
member, just have a
passion for them.
Q:
Are there any
monthly dues?
A:
No. Donations are
greatly accepted though.
In the future we do plan
to offer a benefit
package for donators.
T-shirts, Decals,
Sweatshirts, Calendars,
etc.
Q:
Some clubs require
members to have a decal
on there car to support
the group, do you?
A: Absolutely not.
However, some members do
this on there own, but
we do not require it. We
occasionally purchase
small decals, larger
decals, and windshield
banners to promote us.
At the current time we
are out. Will be
ordering more very soon.
Q:
How do the members
of First State F-Body
communicate?
A:
Our members
communicate mainly
through the
firststatefbody.com
forum, located @ http://forum.firststatefbody.com.
We also hang out at
events, such as parades,
shows, special events,
and monthly meets. Most
months, one of the admin
will send out a
newsletter to all
members via the forum,
to each members email.
Most members have
AIM/AOL which they use
as well.
Here
at FSFBA the only thing
we really demand is
respect.
